The professional DV-, MiniDV-, S-VIDEO and VHS tapes, exhibit a 4fold higher particle density opposite normal tapes. Thus a visibly better overall view impression is produced, and still fewer picture noises. The pixel formation (artifacts) was likewise strongly reduced. Due to the particle density, high of consolidated volumes is longer more durable. There are not professional cartridges in the consumer he trade.

Video CD in the format VCD is a procedure, which stores you your film in video home system quality on a normal CD-ROM, compressed in the MPEG-1, playable in each CD-ROM drive assembly with Windows Media Player as well as each DVD-Player. The capacity in the format VCD amounts to approx 50-60 min.

SVCD is compressed in MPEG-2 and offers a video quality in S-VIDEO home system. The capacity in the format SVCD amounts to approx 30 min. This system is ideally für advertising and information films suitable, since the CD on each PC at the customer is playable.

A rendition of SVCD and VCD on large picture projectors, is to be considered for quality reasons.

We recommend the -RAM format only reduced, since only few DVD-Player it can process. The system is more für the editing by films, intended on RAM-DVD-recorders. To RAM archive better than the -R or +R-format from data, are suitable. Also -RW is not compatible to each Player. When desired these formats are however available.

For owners of exclusive DVD-players, we would like to still add that only pressed disks play the majority of these devices. With a DVD reproduction of high-end-players, we recommend to use DVD+R ruffians, because the format -R is not read here.

The HDV-Format (High Definition):
HDV signals (1440 x 1080 Pixel) become on MiniDV tapes and on CF-memory cards drawn.
The AVCHD common (1920 x 1080 Pixel) in the Consumption-area, with recording on a memory card SDHC, is the ideal solution for an undisturbed subsequent treatment.

The Broadcast-area uses the AVC-Intra 100-Codec, and recording upon P2-memory card. Unfortunately, all Flash media store the data, only up to 5-years.

Informations to Fisch Power Socket Outlet.

DV dissolves 500 lines, and DVCPRO 800 lines.

DV-tapes always transfer a data rate from 25 Mbit/s, DVD at the most 10 Mbit/s, but mostly only 3-8 Mbit/s. The dv-system offers tapes with a term from up to 280 minutes of length.

Please you note also that for a good quality with a DVD-5 (4.7 GByte), which should not be appropriate for rendition time over 120 minutes, and with a DVD-9 (8.5 GByte, double Layer) not over 3 hours.

A disadvantage opposite DV-tapes consists of the fact that the DVD is substantially more sensitive for scratches, finger marks and variations in temperature. The large advantage of a Disc, the contactless laser scanning.

The Blu-ray-Disc (HDTV, 36 Mbit/s) is even more sensitive than the DVD, hence, these discs should be offered originally only in a protective covering (cartridge). Fingerprints, dust and scratch, would have belonged therefore to the past. Unfortunately, the cartridge became of the industry, not further supported.

Attention:
Not all Blu-ray devices play DVDs and CDs.
